Red Bus Bistro’s Boozy Glasgow Tea Party

Many of us have fond memories of hosting tea parties as a child for our dolls and teddy bears when we were little. Aboard our vintage bus on our Gin Experience tour, you can invoke all of the fond memories of childhood but with a grown-up twist. Instead, of diluting juice, water or whatever your mum would let you spill all over the rug, our teapots are filled with gin.

Served in dainty glass teapots and topped with edible flowers, our gin cocktails are made with your choice of flavoured gin from Gin Bothy.

You will be welcomed aboard with a celebratory glass of prosecco and to eat, you will be served our signature Afternoon Tea. On your cake stand, you will have scones with cream and jam, finger sandwiches, mini quiches, smoked salmon blinis, cream cakes and a selection of petit fours. If you wish to uphold the more traditional aspects of the tea party, we also have as much tea and coffee as you can drink included in the package.

If tea parties were not your thing as a kid, don’t worry, we can still bring out the big kid in you. Did you spent endless afternoons playing with toy cars, trucks and buses? Then you will love taking in the sights of the city from our beautifully restored 1966 Routemaster. If you’re lucky, the driver might even let you try on his hat.
The Routemaster bus is a very unusual sight in Glasgow so prepare to feel like a celebrity as people on the street watch and wave as you go by.
