Red Bus Bistro Company Limited

• We do not offer live or recorded guide commentary on our buses. We are a dining experience whilst touring Edinburgh or Glasgow.
• Tickets are only valid for the date and time stated on the booking confirmation.
• Passengers with mobility concerns should contact us immediately after booking to ensure a suitable downstairs table is reserved for them. Should there be no availability for the date/time chosen, a suitable alternative will be offered. Downstairs tables are unavailable on Evening Tours & Harry Potter Tours
• Unfortunately, due to the age and design of the Bus we cannot accommodate wheelchair passengers. We have a small storage area to store a fully collapsible wheelchair, if the passenger can transfer to a seat downstairs.
• There is no toilet on board, however all tours will include a comfort break.
• Passengers should expect to share a table, especially on our busier weekend tours. If passengers would rather not share a table, we can try and accommodate them on a quieter tour.
• All seating plans are allocated by our bus managers and are subject to change right up until the departure time.
• To guarantee exclusive use of a table for four, a supplement of £10 per unused seat would be charged. Please contact us to arrange this reservation.
• To select a specific seat on the bus, there is a charge of £4 per person. Please contact us to arrange this reservation.
• To guarantee the use of the upper-deck front tables, there is a charge of £6 per person. These seat just two people and there are only two available. Please contact us to arrange this reservation.
• Passengers are requested to arrive ten minutes before departure from your indicated pick-up point. Unfortunately, we cannot wait for late comers as we run a strict timetable.
• Refunds will not be offered to latecomers.
• We offer gluten free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian options. These should have been requested at the time of booking, but please contact us immediately if this was overlooked.
• As food served on board is prepared in a small kitchen, we cannot guarantee the absence of nuts in any of our tours.
• If you have any other specific dietary requirement, please contact us immediately so we can accommodate you.
• Smoking is not permitted on the Bus at any time.
• Red Bus Bistro does not take any responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of personal belongings while on the Bus.
• Conditions of carriage are subject to legislation set out by the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981; all details can be given by the Red Bus Bistro head office.
• We operate vintage Routemaster Buses, and although we keep our vehicles in the best possible maintenance condition, there will be times that unforeseen maintenance issues may arise and result in a disruption to the tours, or cancellation; however we will endeavour to do everything in our power to avoid any disruption.
• If a tour has to be cancelled without advance notice, passengers will be refunded in full or transferred onto another tour date.
• If the tour is cancelled after the first 30 minutes of a tour commencing, we will then offer availability on another tour.
• Red Bus Bistro Company Ltd. reserves the right to refuse carriage of passengers who are intoxicated, or displaying threatening or abusive behaviour, no refunds will be given under these circumstances. We also ask that a reasonable standard of behaviour is adhered to while on the tour, as there are other passengers to consider.
• Red Bus Bistro Company ltd. is not responsible for any damage caused by passengers breaking the rules.
• Age restrictions apply for all tours. Tours are suitable for children aged 8 and over. Anyone under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Evening tours may be restricted to adults aged 18 or over.
• Full payment is required at the time of booking. Cancellations are accepted no later than 14 days before your tour date. Red Bus Bistro Company Ltd. will refund your amount paid minus 20% administration fee.
• For groups of 10 and above, we require non-refundable deposit of 25%, which will come off the total bill as down payment which is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due two weeks before the tour date. We will contact you for payment.
• You can reschedule your tour to another date no later than 48 hours before your tour.
• It is not the policy of Red Bus Bistro Company Ltd to discriminate in any way against employees or passengers regarding disability, gender, race, sexual orientation or religious beliefs.
• Red Bus Bistro Company Limited will go out of its way to cater for as diverse and audience as possible within the physical confines of the bus and will follow the DDA Legislation guidelines at all times.
• All information gained from passengers will never be given to any third parties for marketing purposes; Red Bus Bistro Company Limited is responsible for all online transactions.
